Main Street in the Village of East Hampton

This project created a spa and fitness center in the basement level of the historic East Hampton Village bed and breakfast, The Baker House,  (formerly known as the J Harper Poor House). This space was excavated from a half basement and designed to evoke the feeling of an ancient Roman bath. It includes a lap pool, sauna, steam-room, thermal tub and dressing rooms. The twin showers are within vaults beneath the main chimneys.
